In the state of New Jersey, yes, it is the law. Farrell Irrigation has both an Irrigation (DEP 468014) and Home Improvement Contractors License (13VH14000700) from the State of New Jersey.

Farrell Irrigation accepts cash, check, and credit cards for payment. There is a 3.3% processing fee for all credit card transactions.

Basic maintenance is required to ensure the effective operation of your system.

The most important services are the fall winterization and the spring start-up.

In the fall, we shut down the system and blow out the lines to eliminate the risk of freezing pipes.

In the spring, we turn the system back on, evaluate each zone, adjust heads and reset the controller.

Depending on the weather during the summer and how hands on you are, a mid summer evaluation goes a long way to lawn and landscape health as well as water conservation.

Winterization (blow-outs) should typically be completed by mid-November to prevent pipe bursts during the first Jersey Shore freeze. We provide seasonal reminders to all our clients in the 07719 area and beyond to ensure their systems are protected.

Yes, for new installations tapping into the house water source a plumbing permit is required.

Spring Turn-on: $100.00 up to 6 zones, $10 for every 3 additional zones beyond the initial 6, additional $25.00 if a jet pump needs to be primed. This service includes getting the water source turned on, inspection of every head on every zone, uncovering any heads covered by grass, all fine tuning adjustments, ensuring the controller is working and programed, ensuring rain sensor is working, inspect for any leaks in the system, inspect for any electrical issues with the system. Any repairs are additional.

Winterization: $100.00 up to 6 zones, $10 for every 3 additional zones beyond the initial 6 and $25 additional is there is a jet-pump. This service includes shutting off water source, blowing out all lines, and winterizing jet pump (if applicable). No repairs will be made unless needed to preform service, all repairs are additional.

Service Call: $75.00. All repairs are additional. This applies when you call and say "I have a leak on zone #1 that needs to be fixed but you do not want us to do a full inspection. If you want a full inspection then it is $100.00 for first 6 zones, $10 for every 3 additional zones beyond the initial 6.

Installations/System Expansions/Large Repairs: Whether are brand new installation, an addition, or a big repair for damage from a new landscape/hardscape, pool, addition, patio, etc, every situation is unique.
